Freshwater Academy is a week-long camp that gives high school students the opportunity for hands-on experience and fieldwork in Northwestern Pennsylvania's waterways. Students spend their days studying biology and freshwater ecology at a level they can't achieve in the classroom. They will get wet, they will get dirty, and they will love it!

Scouting the Route
Hi camper! Today the Creekers scouted the route on French Creek that we plan to canoe down during camp. Can't wait!
Creek Camp counselors and staff canoed a stretch of French Creek and a local lake. After all this rain, the creek level will have to drop significantly for it to be an option during Creek Camp.

I hope we have some sun to help lower the levels. It is a highlight for the campers.
