Freshwater Academy is a week-long camp that gives high school students the opportunity for hands-on experience and fieldwork in Northwestern Pennsylvania's waterways. Students spend their days studying biology and freshwater ecology at a level they can't achieve in the classroom. They will get wet, they will get dirty, and they will love it!

Stars and Satalites
Wednesday night we met astronomer Jamie Lombardi who took us onto the roof of Carr hall to look at the stars and the planets. We looked through his high tech telescope and saw venus and saturn. After that we walked over to the observatory and looked at some stars and constelations. We even got to see a few satalites fly past! One the stars was alberio which was actually two stars orbiting around each other. It was a blast!
