Yesterday at night we recieved a talk about Acid Mine Drainage, they talk to us about the coal mines in Pennsylvania. We played a game, and later they gave us some information about the way people use coal actually.
At the end we made chemical test to measure pH and
Iron in water

Feeling claustrophobic just thinking about mines, but sure you all learned a lot.
I remember when I was little we knew (thought) there was a lot of iron in the water because it left a orange residue in the pipes and sink. I think it adds a distinct flavor as well. Maybe you can tell me if this is true.
