Freshwater Academy is a week-long camp that gives high school students the opportunity for hands-on experience and fieldwork in Northwestern Pennsylvania's waterways. Students spend their days studying biology and freshwater ecology at a level they can't achieve in the classroom. They will get wet, they will get dirty, and they will love it!

batty for bat watching
Yesterday, we went bat watching. we saw baby brown bats and met the bat expert, terri and wil. then, terri gave us instructions for building different types of bat boxes. it was pretty cool.
I have always wanted a bat house, even though we have plenty by us, just to make sure they are dining on all the mosquitos. Please bring home the construction details.

I always wanted a bat house near where I lived. Maybe someone will now build me one. It sounds like a lot of fun.
Wow! You guys are really getting a close up look there. Must have been amazing.
